DSEK orders change in timing for schools across Kashmir



SRINAGAR OCT 31: On Tuesday, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) issued an order to modify the schedule for all Kashmiri schools starting November 1st, 2018.

As per the order, the timing for schools falling under Municipal limits of Srinagar district will remain from 10am to 3pm

The ruling states that schools within the Srinagar district's municipal limits would continue operating from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Additionally, the hours of instruction for schools located outside the city borders of Srinagar, other districts, and regions of the province of Kashmir have been set at 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.

The new timing will take effect on November 1, 2023, by the order.

"All relevant institutions are required to follow the directives and guidelines to the letter. The directive states, "Any deviation in this regard will be viewed very seriously."
